To give water, it is important to know about many aspects, as the type of plant, its size, soil, weather, moisture, sun exposure and time of year are important.
1. Slower watering:
If the water goes down outside the root ball, then there is no value of water, it leaves the roots of the plant dry. It is happening because you water very fast way or you too much water at a time. It is more effective for slowing water the plants. The main thing is that the water should reach the root zone. Whether you are giving this water in the houseplant or tending seedlings or else watering a row of vegetable. When giving water, keep in mind that till the root of the plant is completely wet, give water.
2. Check the soil:
Check the soil before giving water. The best moisture meter is in your hands, when the surface of the soil appears dry you should check it a few inches below. You see how deep the soil is dry. And if it is dry then you need to water immediately. And if the soil is wet, then you have to wait one more day.
3. Established trees and bushes:
Established trees and bushes are usually not required for water because its roots are extensive and dry is conducive. But when these plants come under dry tension, they need water. Trees and shrubs need water for 5 years because it cannot tolerate dry tension.
4. Plants need oxygen:
As much as the plant needs water, it also requires oxygen. For most plants, let the soil surface dry. If the water is filled with water, then wait. This is particularly useful for plants engaged in the container. It is good to give deep water to the plant.

6. Maintain moisture:
To maintain moisture on the ground, use organic mulch, like wheat straw, pine needles or chopped leaves and finely ground bark, The ones that you spread on the surface of the soil, spread it under the plant, it maintains moisture in the soil and acts as armor between the soil and the strong sun. A layer of 2 to 3 inches of mulch helps in controlling the hot weather and maintaining moisture in the plant roots. Without mulch, your plants will continue to burn in the sunshine.
7. Use a nozzle:
During the hot weather watering 2 to 3 times a week in your vegetable gardens. It is very necessary to give deep water to the garden, it encourages deep roots and relieves roots from the hot surface of the soil. If you have planted your vegetables in the container, you will need water every day, because the container water dries fast. Instead of giving hand water, you use a nozzle, in which you use the “shower” setting it gives your plants rain like water.
