Okra or okro, known in many English-speaking countries as ladies’ fingers, ochro or gumbo, is a flowering plant in the mallow family. It is valued for its edible green seed pods.  The plant and its seed pods are also known as “lady’s fingers”.

About Okra:

It is a perennial plant and it is cultivated in tropical and warm temperate climate annually. The plant is about 2 meters tall. The leaves are 10 to 20 centimeters long and are broad in size.
