How to grow jackfruit tree
- Kathal is a tropical tree, so a tropical and humid environment is necessary for its implementation. Its trees are sensitive to the growing cold.

It’s well in a 20-inch diameter and 24-inch deep container. Due to its porous nature, the glazed pot is more suitable than the terra cotta pot.
- Remove thin pulp from around the mature fruit, and wash the seeds thoroughly in hot water to remove them.
- Select the big seed for germination. Plant the seeds immediately.
- For dry seeds dip it in water for 24 hours. Mix gibberellic acid solution in water to increase the germination rate.
- Growing mixer in a pot. Take a seed in each pot. Sprinkle light water and cover it with a plastic sheet. The plastic sheet maintains a humid atmosphere, which is essential for seed germination.
- Place the pot in a warm place, where the temperature is around 80 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Allow 10 to 40 days for germination.
- Keep checking the pot from time to time, because it is necessary to maintain moisture in the pot. Keep the water in it as needed, so that the soil moist remains.
- Remove the plastic sheet when the seed germination is pot.
- Choose a large pot and make suitable holes for drainage before planting.
